Keeping it positive

I have made a decision about this blog. I would like to always try and keep my posts on the upside of positive in tone. I have ventured around and read many blogs. It seems to me, that the blogs that complain a lot or have negative and nagging tones seem to get the most response from people. It is true that I am trying to attract regular readers and I'd love to have many visitors of all kinds to my blog but I don't think I need to be a negative person to get that accomplished.

I'm sure there will be times when things don't go quite right and I need to express myself in certain ways that are considered strong opinions or whatever, but I really do think I can attract plenty of good readers without relying on shock value or clever digs at society or others. I do think you can be interesting without being nasty or mean.

I think I'll call it: Chin up blogging.

There's enough negativity in the world already. I don't feel the need to dwell on it and take my time to journal and archive it on a regular basis.

So, feel free to bookmark this blog, visit regularly, and become a frequent commenter!! Have a great weekend and keep your chin up!!!

I haven't had lunch, so this cheese is very tasty.

Thanks!

(I'd delete this comment if I were you. The author is obviously an a-hole.)

I decided to do that some time back but I do rant sometimes when I am in a bad mood.

It does happen, but I have read some that go on and on and on about all things unhappy. From bad neighbors to grouchy people at the stores to spouse issues....bleh.
No thanks!!!

I try to do the same - although once in a while you just have to get things off your chest!

:-)

Yes, that's true. I do too, to a certain point. I also think it's important to just move on. I've been generally annoyed by people who's entire blogs are one rant after another. As if to say, they nothing else to focus on. Bleh, no thanks, I have better things to do with my time than read that!

And ya know what? I've decided to include you on my list of fav blogs. I like your blog!

I totally detest blogs that belittle, complaint without solution, negative -- well, you get the drift...
