My mom and I had gone there to eat recently and after being seated at a table, were basically deserted! We actually got up and left after sitting there for a long while without so much as even a drink waiter coming by. We then went across the street to eat at the Old Spaghetti Factory.We were hoping for better service at Joe's this time around. Which, I guess we did get. But when you are paying $23.00 for a bucket of bbq'd dungeness crab, you want it to be cooked right. Mine was NOT. The crab meat inside was brown and hard and dry....WAY WAY WAY over cooked. So they sent it back...which means I had to sit and watch everyone else eat. Dude! It's my birthday!!
In the end, I got fresh crab...it was less overcooked than the previous batch, but still slightly overcooked. All in all it was an ok evening. I probably would have been happier had we went across the street again.
