Ebay or Yard Sale?

That is the question! Since I've been buying so many new clothes for my trip, now that I'm home, I loathe all my old clothes! The style of my new clothes better fits my personality now. Besides, there's no room in my closet for all the clothes at the same time. When I'm all caught up on laundry, my bedroom looks more like a wholesale clothing warehouse, what with all those white shirts I used to have, hanging everywhere! My closet throws up all over the room.

So the question is, should I try to ebay the clothes or throw them in a yard sale bag? I will offer some of them to my mom and some to my friends, but what to do with what's left? Some of the clothes are still in great condition! Some are just tired from being washed and worn.

I have to weigh all the factors: I stand to make more on ebay if I sell some as lots vs. $.50 each at a yard sale, but there's a lot more work involved with listing on ebay. The measuring and recording the tag info and taking photos of everything and typing it all out...

I guess I could always freecycle some too!

You'd make more on nice items on Ebay. I bought 2 pairs of jeans on ebay a couple years back for $7 or 8 bucks. Size 22 petite is almost impossible to find.

I love yard sales, but hate shopping for clothes at yard sales. Don't get me wrong, it's not the clothes. I just hate how it's usually a big table with piles. Yuck. Unshoppable. So if you yard sale it, please hang your stuff.

PS what size do you wear? Let me know if you post on ebay, I'll give you a plug on my blog
